now that i've cut my hair off, i feel like i could bleach it without much repercussion. it'll grow out fast enough and new healthy hair will take its place. michelle williams, one of my lady crushes, demonstrates this look very well. she is such a beauty. i felt like blonde hair never suited me when it was long, but it's a definite possibility for me now. i'm still getting used to my cut and trying to add wear at least some feminine pieces each day to even it out. (it's an ongoing hunt for some bitchin S/S dresses!) it's kinda nice not to have hair hanging around doing nothing on my neck and shoulders, and i love not having to do my hair AT ALL. i just kinda muss it around and walk out the door. i think it looks more interesting, to say the least! the only thing is keeping it looking good blonde would take away from the low-maintenance-ness of the cut. perhaps i should leave this to michelle...
