the sun shone so brightly in winnipeg today that i could barely see when i left work. i'm looking so forward to more sunny days like this -- they will eventually melt all of the snow, and i will have reason to bring my bike up from the basement and go for a ride. i'll reattach my milk crate on the back and i'll pedal around with my belongings riding along with me.
the last few weeks have been all about getting connected with winnipeg again. sometimes i forget how much love i have for my home, and i can tell it is in a re-growth stage seeing as how much i've been listening to the weakerthans. i found myself smiling the entire bus ride home with frontman john k in my ears, and i could swear i saw his doppelgänger standing 2 feet away on the very same bus.
i've also been reaching out to other local bloggers in hopes of getting involved in some sort of collaborative community. it's actually easier than i thought...i just had to ask :) i have been offered a spot once a month to blog for Poster, which i'm super excited about! (shout out braden and suzy) my first post will be about what else: my love for winnipeg. i'm also going to hopefully be doing some shoots with a few other rad winnipeggers in the near future.
here are a few local winnipeg bloggers i dig:

500 Days of Autumn

Oh So Lovely Vintage
