MUSIC LOVE FRIDAYS - THE LUMINEERS

it is quite the normal occurrence for me to ignore others when they tell me to listen to something, maybe so that i can discover it on my own and build my own connection. that happened with the lumineers.  my roommate/friend told me i had to listen to them, after a few weeks i did, and i've never looked back. the lumineers have this old-style feel to them, like you're sitting in a kitchen with a mixture of friends and strangers, with a glass of whiskey, jamming til 4am.  they write from the heart, for the heart, and you can feel it.  these songs get me, all the time, every time.  have a listen and maybe dance in your kitchen!
