it was the first beautiful weekend in winnipeg, and i spent most of it in bed! i'm on the mend from a cold, so hopefully i'll be feeling normal again really really soon. i wanna get my bike out, and there are so many things to do this week: band practice, a farewell to my work pal, and our little etsy sale on saturday :)

i wore jeans this past weekend for the first time in years, and i sorta liked it! perhaps i will give them a try more often.

in the sun

this saturday after brunch we headed back out to birds hill park to bask in the sunshine that has been intermittent as of late. next time, hopefully we'll bring something other than hot dogs? also, no snow would be a plus. nevertheless we enjoyed ourselves -- i love these guys. (ps. the last photo is me making fun of how my friend holds hot dogs.)

happy friday, everyone! this is what i've been up to lately: listening to this lovely album that just arrived in the mail, making some new glittery shoes, and hanging out in humble little studio. i have NO idea what i'll be up to this weekend. hopefully a bit of relaxing, a trip to the woods, and our first official band practice. oh yes, did i mention i'm in a band? ;) i'll also be getting ready for the Winnipeg Etsy Sale coming up in a few weeks! I hope to see you there! Enjoy the weekend, friends.

W.E.S.T. handmade and vintage sale III

I hope that you Winnipeggers will join us on May 4th for the third W.E.S.T. Handmade and Vintage Sale! There will be treats and refreshments for sale while you browse, and a supervised craft table for your kiddies. I'll be there with a bunch new clothes, shoes, accessories and flower crowns that aren't available on my online Etsy shop. Hope to see you there!                                          

prairieview

on sunday i had a photo class at prairieview with my photography club. we went out for a few minutes to take some pictures around the school, and these were a few of my favourites. the class was pretty helpful, giving me a few ideas of cool shoots i'd like to try. i've said it before and i'll say it again: i love this area of the city!  i'll be back there with the crew in two weeks time on another photo adventure (unless this new snow hasn't let up), and i can't wait   :) what did everyone get up to this weekend?
