amelia at the park

a spur-the-moment finding that newfoundlander amelia curran was playing at the park theatre on south osborne turned into a night out for my friend and i. i knew he'd seen her in a small venue called the ship when he was on his bike across canada trip, and he had really dug her.  she has such a beautiful distinct voice and an awesome talent for songwriting. i took a few of her opener and of the lady herself. i know for a fact my friend was swoooooning :) with very very good reason!
