old friends/new memories

it started early yesterday this morning, i think, when a seed of an idea was spread amongst old friends upon ye olde facebook wall. the post must now be about 100 comments deep, and it has developed into solid plans to go carolling! ive been once before when i was in high school choir with these lovely people, and now we are doing it again...it's only been a seven-year hiatus ;) we are all so overjoyed that the old band is getting back together, and even though we all have alot on our plates, we are all so so in.  on a different but similar note, i took these photos monday night after making 30 dozen perogies with my sisters, mother, aunt, and sister from a different mister/roommate. good times.

its beginning to feel a bit like christmas, friends!

(ps. as i accounced on twitter, tuesday was a day of record-breaking sales in my shop! i am so overwhelmed with appreciation.  thank you thank you thank you!)

jack frost and some things

it seems jack is at it again!

when i was a kid, i loved seeing the beautiful, intricate ice designs on the windows of our home, and i was always amazed that they are created by science, y'all. science. i haven't posted anything about the upcoming holiday, and its because i haven't really been involved in anything Christmas-y yet! everyone's doing their baking, making wicked advent calendars, picking out a tree and decorating, and i have been working away on my etsy and preparing for the POP UP shop that's happening on the 22nd! well, i guess the POP UP counts as something Christmas-y, right? it IS only three days before the big day! if you haven't already noticed, i made a few changes to my ladylikeness layout, and as you can see, it matches my shop, as well as my business cards. i'm kinda in love with it. :)

hope everyone had a terrific weekend! i got to dance silly to call me maybe, and really, that's all i need.
