brooklyn, oh brooklyn. NYC PART TRES

my favourite place we visted in new york was brooklyn.  i totally thought i was going to dig greenwich village, but brooklyn thrifting and boutiques are so much more affordable and the items are way more wearable.  i really like the vibe you get there, and the street art is bountiful and beautiful. the brownstones helped, too :)  for some reason we had to get off a stop early and by some magic, we stumbled upon a group of men who play weekly in a shady courtyard.  turns out fella on drums was in THE DRIFTERS. it was way cool.

  1. Wow, this is so neat! I can't wait to go :) And your Brooklyn pictures totally remind me of the hidden places down here in Hollywood. There's such a fun energy surrounding it!

i know, they're my favourite :) i'd way rather take pictures of places like that than all the regular stuff that you can get postcards of. i'd love to visit hollywood! so you haven't been to new york before? that was my first time!

  4. I've never been to NYC before, so I always love seeing people's photos. Brooklyn looks like such a fun place, it reminds me a bit of the Brick Lane area in London =)
