hi guys!
i'm california dreaming right now, as in, looking at old pictures from before there was snow on the ground. life in winnipeg has been rather trying as of late. the temperature's been hovering around -45 with the wind chill, and my car has finally given up starting. to leave the house in the morning i have to wear at least two pairs of everything so i don't freeze, which makes me feel uncomfortable and lumpy and to be honest, a little bit sweaty. i was so spoiled this past summer, biking or walking to and from my job downtown, then coming home to change and eat and put on some lipstick before starting a night shift at the clothing store. it felt like the summer of rachael. even though i was working my butt off and i complained about having little free time, looking back i really enjoyed it. it kinda feels like a dream. let's just say i'm looking forward to spring.

so sorry to hear about your cold weather troubles! this is why I live in los angeles...I can't handle anything under 65 degrees. :(
